Green Brook, New Jersey-based band, Colorfuzz, finds love “At First Sight” with their new single. Colorfuzz is the solo project of Kyle Merritts, who began making music in 2019, and records, mixes, and masters all vocals and instrumentation. The latest song from Colorfuzz, “At First Sight,” follows up the debut album, Digital Delays. “At First Sight” is a psychedelic indie rock track with melodic guitars, ethereal synths, driven bass, and booming drums. In speaking on the topic of the track, Colorfuzz stated, “The lyrics came to me much later when I began to remember the time I was out gigging, and I saw this girl in the crowd that had been watching me the whole time. As soon as I made eye contact with her, it felt like we had a sudden deeper connection with each other, but after the show she was suddenly gone as if she had never existed.” Colorfuzz’s “At First Sight” is a great late-summer jam and the perfect addition to any indie rock playlist.
