Menai, Australia-based dark pop artist, Clare Easdown, links up with Simon Pipe for their latest single, “I’ll Wait.” Clare Easdown is a DIY singer, songwriter, and beatmaker from Sydney, Australia. Her latest single is a dark wave banger called, “I’ll Wait,” is an eerie cry out for love. The production on the song is centered around deep bass, ethereal synths, and industrial percussion. Clare Easdown’s ghostly vocals echo through the beat, like it’s a haunted church. When discussing the song’s concept, Clare stated, “‘I’ll Wait’ is an open heart surgery of the soul. Expressing one’s pure longing and yearning for a mere response from someone they’ve previously bombarded with WhatsApp messages due to having a manic bipolar episode.” Clare Easdown and Simon Pipe’s latest single “I’ll Wait” is the perfect addition to any dark pop or dark wave playlist.
