Jonny Ong – “Don’t Wake Me Up From This Dream”

Posted on October 8, 2022October 8, 2022 By James Kerr

London, United Kingdom-based rock artist, Jonny Ong, delivers the follow up single to his 2021 album, Isolation, with the new song, “Don’t Wake Me Up From This Dream.” Jonny Ong is a Singaporean multi-instrumentalist who released his debut album, Visions of the Aquatic, in 2019. His latest single, “Don’t Wake Me Up From This Dream” puts a modern spin on the nostalgic sounds of 60s rock and alt-folk. The song is highlighted by driven guitar riffs, huge backing horns, and folky drums that set the backdrop for the eerie vocals of Jonny Ong. Produced by Scott Knapper, and mastered at the legendary, Abbey Road Studios, “Don’t Wake Me Up From This Dream” is a nostalgic rock ballad, and the perfect addition to any alt-rock or alt-folk playlist. Listen to Jonny Ong’s, “Don’t Wake Me Up From This Dream” below.

The official music video for “Don’t Wake Me Up From This Dream” premiers on October 13th, 2022.

“Don’t Wake Me Up From This Dream” was released to digital streaming platforms on September 30th, 2022 and is now playing on Senocular Top Picks.
